Making a Difference in Kids Lives!
This year at the Vitamark Annual Convention 2009, we will be kicking off the Limu Kids Foundation with the first ever Limu Kids charity drive. This year we will be raising money to support (Brooks Incredible Gift) B.I.G. Love Cancer Care Services.
Founded by Jessica and Chaney Phillips after the loss of their daughter Brook, they strive to ease the heavy burden that cancer kids and their families have to endure while fighting a life-threatening disease. Their goal is to not only meet some of their most basic needs, but also provide opportunities for laughter, happiness and comfort through servanthood and big love.
B.I.G. Love Cancer Care Services works with children and families from around the world at Texas Children’s Hospital (located in Houston) because it is recognized as one of the top hospitals for children with cancer.
Limu Kids "Walk for B.I.G. Love!"
WHEN: Saturday, September 5, 2009. Meet up starting at 7:30 am to turn in your donation forms and the walk will start promptly at 8 am.
WHERE: Fun walk behind the Hilton Houston North Hotel. We will be walking less than a mile in a shaded area.
WHO: Everyone is welcome to participate. If you are unable or do not wish to walk, join our cheering team and help us celebrate.
